Disconnect to reconnect, with yourself, others, and the world beyond the screen

in a poem way
Oh radiant voices riding the airwaves,
your words dance like dawn on sleepy minds—
why flee too long from your sonic stage?
Let not silence stretch its shadowed arms too far;
the world still waits for your golden chime,
for laughter, for comfort in rhythm and rhyme.
Take your pause, but let it be brief,
like moonlight slipping between drifting leaves.
Return, dear RJ, with spirit renewed,
for the mic still misses the magic in you.

I used to play games on my tablet and switch all day, but now I build Lego, draw superheroes, and play football with my friends. I have more fun and don’t miss the screen at all!

I stopped using my tablet so much and started playing outside with my friends. I ride my bike, play football, and help my mum at home. I feel happier and have more fun now!

I swapped screen time for fitness by joining a local gym and setting daily step goals. Less scrolling, more squats! The digital detox boosted my energy, improved my mood, and got me into a healthier routine.

I started leaving my phone in another room during meals and before bed. Instead of scrolling, I now read books and go for walks. This digital detox has helped improve my focus and made me feel more present in everyday life.

Assalamalikum. Hope everyone is doing good at Fever Fm. Love you guys for putting the effort in. So I'm trying to cut down screen time and one thing helping me is to narrow down things or apps I use which didn't do much for my knowledge or learn something from so skipping them as my essential work will be done in half the time if I don't use social media scrolling. Also outdoor touch is very important.
