PERSON SPECIFICATION (ESSENTIAL)
-Provide IT support for volunteers and staff.
-Audio and Video recordings and editing.
-Basic aspects of Administration.
-Awareness of and empathy for the aims of Fever FM
-Practical experience of working in the community or voluntary sector
-Knowledge of other languages (oral) in Punjabi/Mirpuri, Hindi or Urdu (Non-essential)
-Well developed written and oral communication skills
-Self-motivation, a creative approach, ability to work on own initiative
-Interviewing & presenting skills (Full Training Given)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Officer will be responsible for the technical skills related to this project, feedback from our service users, ensuring the project is delivered as per our application.
You will help promote the station and our funded work by liaising with relevant local organizations to produce/deliver meaningful radio programmes and regularly keeping our social media and website updated.
Help to manage the day-to-day running of the station where possible.
Assist with volunteer queries and training
Be able to provide a comprehensive support service to staff, community correspondents, volunteers and members of the community.
You should be able to demonstrate at least one year’s experience in a similar fast-moving environment with IT skills and have the practical knowledge.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone to improve their IT Skills and learn about live radio broadcasting whilst delivering a worth while project.
