2014 was the start to what would become my Journey from listener to a presenter. The open day is
where it began for me; getting to meet my inspirations in RJ Shahab, Harpz & Imrano. 5 years later
2019 having completed my degree. I trained on the
Fever on Fleek Programme in August 2018: completing my radio as well as video editing training. I
went from co-hosting on the Saturday Show: New Vibez to now having my own show on Saturday.
Fever On Fleek The Programme allowed me to record a
short video piece on mental health alongside jingles for Christmas and New Years as well as the opportunity to
interview Professional Boxer Qais Ashfaq and well renowned singer Roach Killa. Most importantly the
programme through mentoring from Imrano and Khalida , helped me be pushed outside my comfort
zone to then flourish in gaining confidence in myself ; alongside also allowing me to meet new
people that are now like family to me.
